After the Spring Festival, the Covid-19 has shown signs of quick spread in Cambodia, and many local Chinese are infected. The Cambodian government has taken various epidemic-prevention and control measures as soon as possible to actively control the spread of the epidemic.

SCHNEITEC CHINT CO., LTD., a joint venture subsidiary established by CHINT Global and SchneiTec in Cambodia, has paid great attention to the local epidemic situation, and joint hands with the headquarter of CHINT Global to immediately search the resources of epidemic prevention materials. With the concerted efforts of all parties, more than ten boxes of anti-epidemic materials including masks, thermometers, protective clothing and goggles have been delivered to Cambodia in time.

On March 10, the anti-epidemic materials raised by SCHNEITEC CHINT were sent to KEO ROTTANAK, chairman of EDC. Mr. KEO, who received the donation, said he was very grateful to CHINT for the attention and help to the Cambodian epidemic. Cambodia is in urgent need of anti-epidemic materials to fight against the epidemic.

At the same time, he also expressed his attention about the construction of joint venture factory in Cambodia, as well as his expectation for CHINT’s further development in local production capacity layout, technical cooperation and other fields. CHINT and EDC also discussed the future cooperation direction in specific fields such as off-grid photovoltaic system and household photovoltaic system. These technologies and products will effectively solve the urgent power consumption problem of local residents in backward areas.
